# MATH 601 Introductory Email

Title your message "[math-601] Introduction" but do not include the quotation marks.

Please include at least the following information:

- Your major, minor, and goals for this course.
- Your abstract algebra and number theory background.
- Your programming background.
- Your current location, and availability for in-person lectures later in the semester.
- Any personal facts you would like to share, e.g., about your family, hometown, background, hobbies, and pets.
- Any personal circumstances that might impact your performance in this course.
- To help me identify you, a recent photo of yourself, if you are OK with it.
- Pet photos are very welcome!
- If you are a former student, you can simply update me on any significant changes since your previous introduction.  In this case, I would still would like to know about your programming and abstract algebra background, and your current location and availability for in-person lectures.
